The Subjects Aim is a story of two sisters who’s a victim of cruel experiments. One having the ability of melting into a liquid form and the other one who can read minds. Although this one is a so-so for me, I think those who love science fiction may find it into their liking.
I have to admit that I wasn’t that impressed with how this book started, unlike the second book, this one started a bit dull and I was really looking forward to some suspense since it’s the third and final book of the series. The start was a bit controversial but it didn’t totally fueled my excitement like what the second book did to me.
The first book of this series wasn’t able to entertain me that much, so I wasn’t really expecting something from its next book. And deym! Right at its first page, I instantly got hooked to this story.
This book was recommended to me by a friend, but the idea of science fiction plus alien invasion didn’t catch my attention at first. But I still added it to my reading list, although not on my priority reads.
The Veil of Reality is the second book of the Cadicle series, but it could also be read without having to read its first book (though I don’t recommend such). There’s no denying that I wasn’t really impressed with its first book, the Architects of Destiny, but this one totally hooks me up!
